		<description>I am not entirely sure that I understand the question. There are 4 regions. All states are assigned to one of the four regions, so claims from providers in all states are either currently being audited by RACs or will be audited in the near future. The original CMS demonstration program that resulted in creating a permanent RAC program included five states with large Medicare populations - New York, Massachusetts, Florida, South Carolina, and California. This limited demonstration program ended in 2008. Following review of the demonstration program, Congress made the RAC program a permanent program and expanded it to all states.</description>
