In an effort to serve you better, we’ve conducted an ICD-10 survey to find out how you are preparing for the transition to ICD-10. We’ve received more than a 1,000 responses from your peers.     Add on code 32507 Thoracotomy; with diagnostic wedge resection followed by anatomic lung resection, is intended to be reported along with a more extensive primary procedure to show that diagnostic wedge resection was performed on the lung first. The physician may use an intraoperative pathology consultation in order to determine that a more extensive resection procedure, such as pneumonectomy, is required at the same site.
